Lockdown Love: Bronagh and Liam's Engagement

It really was 'love at first sight' for recently engaged couple, Bronagh and Liam!

Firstly, we must ask how did you and your fiancé meet?

“I met Liam at a friend’s wedding back in May 2010. I was a friend of the bride, attending the wedding with my football team and Liam was a family friend of the grooms'.

“The next day I had a new friend request on Facebook, we stayed in contact over messenger and BBM. After a kiss on a night out and a few dates later, he finally asked me to be his girlfriend in August 2014.”

We're all dying to know; how did Liam propose?

“On Easter Sunday, we stayed in an Airbnb beside the Cladagh Glen and that’s when he asked me. It was the most beautiful setting! We stayed in a little cottage beside beautiful stables with an outdoor hot tub overlooking the fields and lake.”

Is there anything you would like to tell us about your ring shopping experience?

“Liam and myself started looking for the perfect ring after the first lockdown. He took me to the newly extended Jack Murphy Jewellers showroom. I could not make up my mind and the lovely Gemma made me up a sample ring. About a month later we told our families we were going shopping and I finally picked out my dream ring, an 8ct Yellow Gold Emerald Cut Halo with Split Band.”
