Jack Murphy Jewellers Host Macmillan Coffee Morning

As we head into the final months of the year, we’re reflecting with gratitude on the incredible support we've received from our customers, team, and community. It’s this support that fuels our continued commitment to giving back and we are delighted to announce that on Friday the 26th of September 2025, we once again partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support for their annual Coffee Morning fundraiser.

As always, our entire team and family got involved, from baking sweet treats to brewing cups of kindness, and of course doing a bit of taste testing along the way… But beyond the cakes and coffee, this day holds special meaning for all the team at JMJ. Macmillan Cancer Support is there for people affected by cancer in ways that truly matter, offering guidance and comfort when needed most.

Every Coffee Morning, whether it’s a big community event or a small gathering, helps raise vital funds. These donations make a real difference to the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer, from the moment of diagnosis and through everything that comes after.

In the days leading up to the event, our team took to Hill Street with flyers to personally invite neighbouring businesses. As always it was lovely to call in with familiar faces and share what the morning was all about! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and donated, your support means the world, and helped make this year’s Coffee Morning one to remember.

A massive shoutout to our friends at KREM for keeping everyone caffeinated! They generously supplied the coffee, and we are so grateful for their continued support.

We also had our very own Aoife Murphy making some colourful friendship bracelets for our Coffee Morning Guests to purchase with all proceeds going towards Macmillan.

This marks another year of working alongside Macmillan, a charity that remains close to our hearts. From the moment we began this partnership, we knew it was more than just a fundraiser, a chance to support those affected by cancer and to raise awareness for the vital services Macmillan provides.

Thank you so much to everyone who got involved and helped spread the word, everyone's support means so much to us, and it's what makes morning's like this so special. We raised an incredible amount of £700.44 for Macmillan from our Coffee Morning. We cannot thank our staff, local community, and customers enough for their generous donations to this worthwhile cause.
