The wedding countdown is truly on for Danielle and Dave, who will be tying the knot exactly one year today! Let’s chat with Danielle about Dave’s perfect proposal earlier this year…
Firstly, we must ask, how did you and Dave meet?
“Dave and I met in work when I was traveling back and forth to Dublin. Dave is from Dublin, so only for work, our paths may never have crossed. We worked together for 5 years and have been together for almost 3 years now.”
We’d love if you could share your proposal story?
“We had our beautiful baby boy Caolán in March this year so already had so much to celebrate! Then, on Caolán’s Christening Day, Dave did the most amazing surprise proposal. It was such a special day as all of our family and friends were there to celebrate with us, including my grandparents which meant the world to us.”
Tell us about your sparkling new engagement ring…
“Last Christmas, we went into Jack Murphy Jewellers as I was looking for a new pair of earrings. Whilst we were there, we had a look at engagement rings which was how Dave got my finger size. My ring is so beautiful and I'm in love with the sparkle of it; it’s a platinum diamond marquis cut. I've been complimented on it every day since it was placed on my finger!”
How are you enjoying wedding planning so far, and do you have any exciting plans for the big day?
“The wedding plans are well under way… Our wedding will be in the Ballymascanlon House Hotel on 13th October 2022 and we are so excited. One year today to be exact!”
