On Sunday 13th April 2025, we hosted something truly special – our very first ‘She’s Tying The Knot’ bridal event at Jack Murphy Jewellers, and what a magical day it turned out to be!
From the moment guests arrived at our showroom on Hill Street in Newry, there was an air of excitement, love, and sparkle. With bubbles in hand and plenty of sweet and savoury treats, guests were welcomed into an immersive bridal experience designed to celebrate everything that makes the journey to “I do” so unforgettable.

We were honoured to have the radiant Melissa Riddell – bride-to-be, presenter, and all-round style queen – as our host for the afternoon. Melissa guided guests through all aspects of the event with charm and warmth, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere that made everyone feel right at home.

Our goal was to create a day full of memorable moments, and judging by the smiles (and selfies!), we think we nailed it. Here’s a glimpse at what guests enjoyed:
- Tying the Knot x Jack Murphy Jewellers: Our Wedding Ring Specialists were busy helping couples find their perfect match – in jewellery form, of course!
- Tied to You x Welded: Guests enjoyed a complimentary Welded Forever Bracelets experience – a symbol of the unbreakable bond shared with their bridal squad.
- Love at First Bite x Laulo Cakes: Guests got creative with cute bento cake decorating, and the results were as sweet as they looked.
- Glowing Ever After x Dr Emma Clinics: Dr Emma Clinics Skin Scan Analyses was a big hit, with guests receiving expert skincare advice on how to achieve that bridal glow.
- The Bridal Bench x Jack Murphy Jewellers: We loved giving engagement rings a little TLC with our Mini Refurbishment sessions in our workshop.
- ‘I Do’ HQ x Seidy Hynds: Planning got a whole lot easier thanks to Seidy’s practical tips and dream-day inspiration.
👗 Live Fashion Showcase
As if the day couldn’t get more glamorous, guests were treated to an unforgettable Live Fashion Showcase, celebrating bridal beauty, individuality, and family.
- Bridal gowns were showcased by the stunning Lucy Spratt, wearing exquisite designs from Elody Bride.
- Hen party looks were modelled by the incredible Kate Grant, the UK and Ireland’s first model with Down Syndrome, wearing standout styles from Wear Once Loved.
- Mother of the Bride fashion was provided courtesy of Shauna Fay Designer and modelled with elegance by Deirdre Grant. Her walk was a heart-warming moment, reminding us just how special the journey is for mothers too.
The gowns, the styling, the energy – it was nothing short of magical.
